These terms apply to use of this website and to projects unless a signed written estimate or contract states otherwise. Each quote also includes project-specific scope and standard estimate terms shown to the customer before acceptance. Questions: hello@coastdynamix.com.
1. Website & project intake
Use of this website and submission of a project request does not create a contract or obligation for Coast Dynamix to quote, accept, manufacture, or deliver any component. We may decline or pause work at our discretion based on scope, capacity, or available information.
2. Quotes & orders
Written estimates list project scope and pricing; full Terms & Conditions are at https://www.coastdynamix.com/terms and are not reprinted on every estimate. A project becomes binding when the customer accepts a quote and pays any required deposit (or accepts a quote with no deposit), which constitutes agreement to those terms and to the scope shown on that estimate, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Customer-supplied information
Customer-provided dimensions, photos, samples, and requirements are assumed accurate unless Coast Dynamix performs separate verification services listed on the quote. Customer remains responsible for confirming fit, function, and suitability for the intended installation.
4. Scope, certification & suitability
Coast Dynamix reverse engineers, designs, coordinates manufacturing, delivers finished parts, and can install when that support is quoted. Regulatory certification, class approval, and code-compliance sign-off are not included unless explicitly listed and priced on a quote. Fabrication to customer specifications is not a substitute for third-party inspection or classification-society approval where required.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customer receives deliverables for use on the quoted project. Coast Dynamix retains rights to general methods, know-how, and reusable design patterns developed during the work.
6. Payment & chargebacks
Deposits and progress payments for custom work may be non-refundable once work begins. Disputed card charges should be raised with Coast Dynamix before initiating chargebacks so project records can be reviewed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coast Dynamix's liability arising from services or deliverables is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
